The cost of a translation depends on the number of characters in the translated text. Translations into English are rarely over 20% longer or shorter than the Finnish, so the cost can be estimated from the length of the original.

"A few A4s" is not a useful guide. A page used to mean 30 lines of 60 strokes but, with different spacing and a proportional font, a page can easily contain 2-3 times as many characters.

The simplest way of checking the length is to use this feature of Microsoft Word.
